It’s been over a month since my last post, and I’m writing this from an airport lounge in Phoenix, waiting for my flight to Paris.
As a follow-up to my previous post, the stitches came out right on schedule. A medical student stitched me in Montpellier, and a nursing student unstitched me in Phoenix. The latter was quite complimentary of the former.
A few weeks ago, I started a new project to rewrite the software for this blog. For a long time, I’d considered just modifying the old codebase, but after some reflection, it became clear that what I wanted to build would be better served by a fresh start. Nearly three years have passed since I began the last version, and I’ve learned more than enough in that time to justify starting over.
Aside from that, my time back in Phoenix was mostly work, eat, sleep, repeat. Sometimes, no news really is good news.
