Today’s route was a lot easier than yesterday’s, even though it was longer. There were a lot of clouds at the start, and although it was mostly cloudy most of the day, the sun did break through on a number of occasions.

At dinner last night, most of the people I spoke with said they were going to stop today in Zubiri. I decided I was going to press on for a couple hours after Zubiri to try to regain some of the tranquility of last year’s Camino. I’ll know soon whether or not it worked. For tonight, I’m in a relatively small private albergue in Larrasoaña, so it’s off to a good start.
