Today is a public holiday in France — it’s Labor Day here, like in so much of the rest of the world — so we’re using it as a bit of a down day. Kathryn slept in, while I took advantage of some quiet time to finish the blog feature I started before I left Phoenix.
It’s not pretty yet, but the blog now has a section for check-ins. The idea was to be able to gather a small amount of information about a place and note when I was there. I can also attach photos to the check-in, and the places can be viewed on a map.
When I was looking over my traces before Easter, I saw a lot of places on the Camino de Santiago where I would have enjoyed having this feature. I may backfill some of them someday, but not today. For now, I’m more interested in the coming ten days. Kathryn and I have plans to do a bit of traveling away from Montpellier while we’re here, starting this coming Saturday. Stay tuned!
